Principal's Message

Girideepam is an iconic symbol of the vision and mission of Mar Ivanios and Bethany Congregation aimed towards creating talented, intellectually equipped, culturally open, spiritually enriched and socially committed generations. Education is primarily an exploration into the unknown avenues of intellectual, cultural, artistic and spiritual talents of the students. It is a matter of immense delight that Girideepam school has incepted an enviable tradition of such an integral vision of education.

Girideepam Bethany Higher Secondary School with its motto ‘In Pursuit of Excellence’, aims at developing a wholistic arena of abilities and making every effort to take the student on a voyage of self-discovery and growing in wisdom. We equip our students to make use of all the better advantages to achieve their goals. Through learning, campus-life, family and homily atmosphere, wider exposure to new thinking etc in Girideepam; may the students be able to go beyond the boundaries and look ahead of the horizons and become good citizens and successful persons. About Girideepam School

Girideepam had a very humble beginning in 1975 with a dozen of tiny tots in a room attached to Bethany Ashram, Kalathipady, Kottayam. The ardent fervour of Bethany Fathers synchronized with social commitment helped the School to grow by leaps and bounds doing good to society. In 1987 we presented the first batch of SSLC and since then an uninterrupted history of total pass with top State Ranks and grades continues. Hundreds of young citizens passed out of this Temple of Learning with a lamp in their hands and a song on their lips. In 2002 this School was upgraded to a Higher Secondary School.
